Freeform II:
Freeform Knitting with Clora Hamilton on January 28th from 10am to 2pm
Cost: $75 (includes materials kit and instruction, please bring your own tools)
This class will explore the next level of Freeform knitting (Intro to Freeform class is strongly encouraged before taking Freeform II). Participants will be provided with a kit. We will explore the possibilities of letting your needles take a walk…or how to get freeform!
Your kit will include a small piece of shirred and dyed sheep “fur” and a variety of yarns.
During class we will work on creative shapes and attaching them to the “sheep” to create a scarf or small wrap.
While all participants will start with the same kit, the adventure will allow us to see how each person’s creativity creates their own unique product.
Supplies/tools to bring:
Knitting needles: a variety of needles sizes 8-11
Crochet hook: size F, G
Scissors
Needle to weave in ends and attach knitted pieces to sheep
Not required, but feel free to bring in some buttons or beads if you like.
